DUDLEY AND CHINGWARO SIGN

We are delighted to be able to announce the signings of Matt Dudley and Kuda Chingwaro.

Matt Dudley is a fantastic player who came through the youth academy of Preston North End. After leaving Preston Matt spent time over in America where played for Oakland University, once returning to the UK he played for Bamber Bridge and most recently for Northwich Victoria.

On joining the club Matt spoke to us saying, “I wanted to come and play for Wilksy again after playing for him at Northwich and the other lads that he’s brought with him are a great bunch and that certainly made my decision easier”.

Dudley is most commonly deployed as a striker due to his impressive goalscoring record and his ability to bring others into the game, however, he is able to play in any forward role.

Kuda Chingwaro spent time at Accrington Stanley as a youth player and then moved on to play for teams such as Barnoldswick and Northwich Victoria.

Kuda told us, “Wilksy was a big reason on why I joined the club. He put a lot of confidence in me by trusting me when I first moved to Northwich. Also I have some great friends that have joined from Northwich and they said some very good things about the place and I feel it would be a good place to enjoy my football”.

Chingwaro is a left winger by trade but can also be deployed on the right as well as a number 10. The pacey winger will offer us goals after netting an impressive 19 last term and he also provides assists just as often.

They both are amazing signings for the club and hopefully the foundations to a fantastic season ahead.
