It is a game and a day that will live on forever in Rammy folklore – on this day two years ago. It was Tuesday 15th January 2019.

The fourth replay in a row. But this one will live on and on forever more in the annuls of Ramsbottom United history.

The Rams had never progressed this far in the FA Trophy before. It was uncharted territory as were the opposition, Southern League Premier promotion chasers, Weymouth from deep on the south coast in Dorset.
